SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT YOUR DESIGNER

Demetris is a big fan of Christmas. It’s actually one of her most favorite times of the year to decorate. It’s become a family tradition for her husband and their two daughters, to shop for their Christmas tree together.

If you got to visit her home, you’ll notice her signature look is eclectic. You will find a mixture of antiques, traditional, and french inspired pieces throughout her home. She loves to mix metals and painted furniture finishes together which delivers a look that is current, yet timeless. It is important that every room in her home, has a different yet cohesive style to it.

She loves to do DIY projects. Most of her family heirlooms are family photos and picture frames, but recently Demetris acquired her grandmother’s china cabinet that is over 80 years old. Restoring it has been one of the greatest.

Another DIY project that she’s most proud of is, her Duncan Phyfe sofa that sits in their bedroom and the distressed painted shiplap on the ceiling of her bedroom. Her husband, Terrell who loves to also assist in DIY projects, built a sliding barn door and wardrobe closet for their master bedroom. (See picture below)
